Given the impact of the global COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting shift to a virtual world, along with the heightened awareness and sensitivity on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), the way forward is unquestionably a game changer for all of us. Participants will leave with a better understanding of what to expect and helpful tips for navigating the job market.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Tammy J. Samuels
Executive Director of Career & Leadership for MBA & Alumni
As the senior leader of the Career & Leadership team, Tammy directs the strategy, development, and administration of the career-management, leadership-development, and employer-engagement functions that support our current MBA students, as well as all UNC Kenan-Flagler alumni.
She brings over 20 years of diverse experience in leadership, strategy, and career coaching in private, public, and proprietary institutions of higher education. Before joining UNC Kenan-Flagler, she served as the Assistant Vice President, Office of Career and Internship Services at LIM College in NYC. Tammy holds certification from the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and received her M.A. from Montclair State University, and a B.A. from Rutgers University.
