Bola Mustapha’s Bio:

Bola is a tenaciously optimistic problem solver. Over the years, he acquired extensive experience in the insurance industry with a primary focus on innovation. He chose the Kenan-Flagler program for its entrepreneurship resources which focus on experiential learning. When he formally launches his startup Asogidi, he plans to leverage the skills he acquired during the Global Entrepreneurship Lab (GEL). He hopes this podcast provides an entertaining yet insightful glance into the Kenan-Flagler Business School. In his spare time, he enjoys photography and making world-class pancakes for his family.

Javier Guillermo’s Bio:

Javier Guillermo (EMBA Class of 2021) is an innovative and resilient leader with extensive experience in multiple sectors and geographies in the global travel and tourism industry. He believes that strong relations and a dose of diversity and resilience are fundamental for every project, policy, or business to succeed.

Javier has worked for three government administrations in International Affairs, started two companies, worked for two nonprofits, and is a Kenan Flagler Business School Alum. He has an Executive MBA with a double concentration – Strategy and Leadership, and Marketing. During his time at KFBS, Javier co-hosted the Tar Heel Hustle Podcast and is currently Chief Events and Community Outreach Officer of the Atlanta Alumni Chapter leadership team.

Javier is a firm believer and witness of the power that Travel & Tourism must transform communities and bridge cultural differences and is building on this experience to create growth opportunities in Travel, Tech, Hospitality, and other service sectors. He focuses on Corporate Development, Customer Experience, and Strategy.

Javier lives in Atlanta with his spouse, enjoys discovering new restaurants, and is always planning his next trip. This year he is going to explore the national parks.

Esmeralda Baltazar’s Bio:

Esmeralda Baltazar is a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and the podcast social media Manager. More than 9 years of significant work experience related to Operational Excellence and Project Management. She specializes in Problem Solving and the usage of DMAIC Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and diverse tools to accomplish Financial and Operational goals while placing customers first. She has a background in Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering Systems. As an intelligent worker and highly dedicated resource, she possesses a profile ethically focused, and she is strong in dealing with all levels of the organization while showing proper measurable results. She enjoys playing tennis, making puzzles, eating delicious exotic foods, playing video games, and listening to classic Rock N Roll.

Mafe Osilia’s Bio:

Mafe Osilia is a global professional that has lived and worked in six different cities around the world. Mafe, a Jane of all trades and master of all, leverages her experience in Finance, Product Strategy, Global Supply Chain, and, most recently, Technology to become a well-rounded leader. As a Kenan-Flagler Business School Alumni, she embodies the school values of Integrity, Diversity, and Teamwork. She seeks to encourage her colleagues to find similarities instead of differences in how they see the world. Unexpected opportunities during her time at Kenan-Flagler Business School include her role as The Tar Heel Podcast’s Executive Producer and an incursion into the entrepreneurship world with her own app. She currently resides in Dallas, juggling a successful career and nomad heart. She looks forward to weekends spent mastering yoga, training her new puppy, and seeking out the next travel adventure.
