UNC Kenan-Flagler’s 100 Women is hosting a virtual event focused on negotiations for women. Moderated by negotiations expert, Professor Alison Fragale, the panelists will discuss negotiating for new opportunities both in the workplace and on the home front. They will cover how to navigate conversations to leverage experience, advocate for others, and secure meaningful outcomes that yield the ever-elusive concept of balance.

Alison Fragale studies the determinants and consequences of power, status and influence in organizations, conflict resolution and negotiation, and verbal and nonverbal communication. An award-winning teacher, Dr. Fragale teaches courses on effective leadership and negotiation skills to undergraduates, graduate students and executives. Dr. Fragale received her PhD in organizational behavior from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and her BA in mathematics and economics from Dartmouth, graduating magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.
